These bookmarks were so simple to make. I just made a sheet of black clay on a thin
setting of the Makin’s
Professional® Ultimate Clay Machine® and
then sheets of the neon colors on an even thinner setting. I used Makin’s Clay®
Flower Cutters to cut out flowers and a Kemper circle cutter for tiny dots. The
flowers and dots were placed all over the black sheet before running it back
through the clay machine.
I cut bookmarks from the sheet then added an extra
flower to each. I made the flower by using each of the flower cutters to cut different size flowers from the colored sheets. I stacked the different sizes and colors,
finished each with a circle center and pressed the flower to the bookmark. Even with the extra flower, the bookmarks are nice and thin and fit easily into a book.
Now, I’m gonna go put the bookmarks in my clay books on
all of the projects I want to try!
